What is a Mobile EMI Locker App?
A Mobile EMI Locker App is a device management platform that allows retailers, distributors, and finance companies to remotely lock or unlock customer smartphones when EMI payments are missed. It ensures timely EMI recovery, reduces defaults, and gives complete control over financed devices.
How does the EMI Locker system work?
When a retailer sells a phone on EMI, an activation key is installed on the customer's device via QR code scan. If the customer misses an EMI payment, the retailer can remotely lock the phone, block apps, disable calls, or restrict internet. Once payment is received, the device unlocks automatically.
Which apps are included in the EMI Locker ecosystem?
The complete ecosystem includes National Distributor App, Super Distributor App, Distributor App, Sub Distributor App (Android + iOS), Retailer App (Android + iOS + Web Panel), Customer App (Native Android Kotlin + iOS Swift), Super Admin Panel, and a dynamic Business Website.
Is the solution compatible with all Android and iOS devices?
Yes. The Customer App is built in Native Kotlin for Android and Native Swift for iOS, ensuring deep system-level compatibility across all major brands including Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Realme, OnePlus, and Apple iPhones. Compatibility is verified before deployment.
How long does development take?
Standard EMI Locker project goes live within 60 working days. This includes UI/UX Design (10 days), Design Execution (15 days), Full Development (25 days), and Testing & Go-Live (10 days). Timeline may vary based on customizations.
What is the cost of EMI Locker App Development?
Starting Cost: Rs. 5 Lakhs — Android App (works on new / fresh devices only).
Rs. 8 Lakhs — Android App (supports both new and running/active phones).
Rs. 15 Lakhs — Complete ecosystem including Android + iPhone (iOS) Apps with Distributor, Retailer, Customer Apps, Admin Panel, Website, and 1 Year Maintenance.
What is Google Zero Touch Enrollment (ZTE)?
Google ZTE is an enterprise-level device management solution by Google. It allows automatic device enrollment without physically touching the phone. Once ZTE is activated, the EMI Locker key is permanently bound to the device at the OS level — even factory reset cannot remove it. ZTE is available as an optional premium add-on.
What are the benefits of ZTE?
ZTE provides unbreakable device security at OS level. Key benefits include zero-touch remote enrollment, permanent key protection that survives factory reset, auto re-enrollment after any reset attempt, faster large-scale deployment, reduced fraud and tampering, and enterprise-grade compliance trusted by banks and NBFCs.
Can customers reset their phones if EMI is pending?
With standard app-level security, reset protection blocks factory reset, hard reset, recovery mode, and USB flashing. With Google ZTE enabled, even if the customer manages to reset, the EMI Locker key automatically reactivates on restart — making it impossible to remove.
Do you provide white-label solutions?
No. We do not provide white-label or ready-made software. Every EMI Locker system is developed from scratch, fully customized to your business requirements, branding, distribution hierarchy, and operational workflow.
What security measures are included?
Security includes IMEI binding and device verification, encrypted API communication (SSL/TLS), data encryption at rest and in transit, anti-reset protection (factory reset, hard reset, recovery mode), SIM change detection and alerts, live GPS location tracking, role-based access control, and complete audit trail of all actions.
What is the multi-level distribution hierarchy?
The EMI Locker platform supports a 5-level distribution network — National Distributor, Super Distributor, Distributor, Sub Distributor, and Retailer. Each level can manage, monitor, and control all levels below them with full key tracking and performance visibility.
Do you offer post-launch maintenance?
Yes. Every project includes 1 Year of free comprehensive maintenance covering bug fixes, app store updates, server management, security patches, minor UI adjustments, and 24/7 priority support. After Year 1, maintenance continues under AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract).
Do you provide the source code?
Yes. Complete project source code is available at an additional cost of Rs. 10 Lakhs. This includes full source code of all apps, web panels, backend, and database — along with detailed documentation covering project structure, API endpoints, database schema, and deployment guide.
What technology stack is used?
Customer App uses Native Kotlin (Android) and Native Swift (iOS) for deep device-level control. Distributor and Retailer Apps use Flutter for cross-platform development. Web Panels use ReactJS. Backend runs on Node.js with Express.js. Database is MongoDB hosted on AWS.
How is EMI payment collection handled?
The platform supports multiple payment methods including UPI payment, cash collection, and eMandate/Auto-Debit. Retailers can enable automatic EMI deduction from customer bank or UPI. Auto WhatsApp, SMS, and push notification reminders are sent before, on, and after EMI due date.
